Brody

"Brody"

Client's Quote:
"Name: "Brody" Breed: Basset Hound, Age: 4 (Turning 5 in July) From: adopted at 8 weeks from Jacksonville, NC. I like to imagine he has all of these different voices most of which resemble the way "Woody" from "Toy Story" would  sound. He is my best bud and a true companion. I'm in school at ECU and he's adapted really well to college life here in Greenville. The dog park is his favorite place and he loves on anybody who will let him. He's the best dog, completely laid back and easy going. He's about 75 pounds but I like to call him 'big-little' because he's only about as tall as my knee. He's the best dog and I love that he is so approachable. Brody is always hungry and since his feed schedule is once per day his favorite word is 'breakfast' and 'treat'. I've discovered he loves raw potatoes recently too. I can't imagine my life without him, he brings such joy to me and to everyone who meets him. A little boy once told me he was 'the saddest dog I've ever seen' because of his droopy face, but he's not and all his wrinkles are irresistible. He's the best and I'm so proud of his behavior, yet constantly impressed by what trick he will do for a piece of something. The only thing to worry about is he'll steal your heart and food that's in his reach. I got him for my sixteenth birthday and at the beginning he was very strong willed and scent driven just like any other hound dog. For the past 4 and a half years he's followed me around and I'm glad I spoiled him because he's so gentle and sweet. No matter how bad my day was I can look at him and instantly feel better and he is so quirky I can't help but laugh at him." - Bryttani Cauble
