"IN LOVING MEMORY OF CAPTAIN BOOTSIE BEAR"
October 12, 1994 - July 27, 2008
"October 12, 1994 brought into our life four black bundles of fur and joy
and changed our lives forever.
One of these bundles of joy was Captain
Bootsie Bear. How can words describe him? Let me try to count the ways...
Coat black as night with a very striking gray beard...twinkling eyes that
always see everything for the first time anew.
A body a teddy bear would
yearn for.... and a personality so fresh and alive that he won the hearts
and minds of everyone he met. He kind of reminds you of Puppy Klaus
Kringle. You know, Puppy Klaus, the Ancient bringer of gifts to all good
little puppies everywhere on Puppy Xmas Eve! He was always the diplomat,
statesman and public relations person of the group. The others kind of
looked out for him because Bootsie didn't always see things the way they
are but how they should be...
Bootsie loved adventures and was happiest
when out and about discovering new things...a butterfly...a flower...each day
was a new adventure to him.
Bootsie had a strong will to live but unfortunately
illness won. Even up to the last he tried to take that last walk...that last
adventure.
He filled our life with love and happiness...always giving his love
and loyalty without asking anything in return. His passing leaves such a big void
in our life. We'll miss that smiling little face though we
will never forget and we
will never be able to forget him.
Bootsie, we will always love you...
You remain
in our hearts and memories forever.
No one can take your place.
MILLIONS OF KISSES AND HUGS BOOTSIE
FOREVER...

In Loving Memory of Zach
If it should be that I grow weak,
and pain should keep me from my sleep;
Then you must do what must be done,
for this last battle can't be won.
You will be sad, I understand;
but don't let grief then stay your hand.
For this day more than all the rest,
your love for me must stand the test.
We've had so many happy years;
what is to come can hold no fears.
You don't want me to suffer so...
the time has come, please let me go.
Take me where my needs they'll tend,
but please stay with me 'til the end.
To hold me close and speak to me,
until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree,
it was a kindness done for me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
from pain and suffering I am saved.
Please do not grieve that it was you
who had this painful thing to do.
We've been so close, we two, these years;
don't let your heart hold any tears.
